Hi

I can't remember the change you have to do to route sentry so you can have both local and international working and still be able to play COD4.

I remember Will told us once before...please can you help?

Thx

Here you go Deckard:

In your RS directory, open up your Localroutes.dat with notepad and add these IP\'s to the list at the bottom:

63.146.121.11,255.255.255.255
63.146.121.12,255.255.255.252
63.146.121.16,255.255.255.240
63.146.121.32,255.255.255.224
63.146.121.64,255.255.255.192
63.146.121.128,255.255.255.128
63.146.122.0,255.255.254.0
63.146.124.0,255.255.255.240
63.146.124.16,255.255.255.252
63.146.124.20,255.255.255.254

If you are using routing tables be sure to add the following:

route -p add 63.146.121.11 MASK 255.255.255.255 192.168.1.1
route -p add 63.146.121.12 MASK 255.255.255.252 192.168.1.1
route -p add 63.146.121.16 MASK 255.255.255.240 192.168.1.1
route -p add 63.146.121.32 MASK 255.255.255.224 192.168.1.1
route -p add 63.146.121.64 MASK 255.255.255.192 192.168.1.1
route -p add 63.146.121.128 MASK 255.255.255.128 192.168.1.1
route -p add 63.146.122.0 MASK 255.255.254.0 192.168.1.1
route -p add 63.146.124.0 MASK 255.255.255.240 192.168.1.1
route -p add 63.146.124.16 MASK 255.255.255.252 192.168.1.1
route -p add 63.146.124.20 MASK 255.255.255.254 192.168.1.1

*PLEASE NOTE*
In the routing table above, change the \"192.168.1.1\" to your own router\'s IP address

Save the file and close.

*EDIT*
Remember when you changed the file you have to restart route sentry and then click on \"set up routes\" before it will word. Have fun!

There was no localroutes.dat in my route sentry directory, so I created a text file and opened it with notepad.

Is this correct?

this is the steps to do Routesentry on Vista for those that Run Vista

1: Set your router to "Bridged Mode"

2: Open Regedit, navigate to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\C lass\{4D36E972-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}\0002", change the value of "Wanendpoints" to "2"
Navigate to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet003\Control\C lass\{4D36E972-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}\0002", change the value of "Wanendpoints" to "2"

3: Close Regedit, and restart the PC.

4: Go to: Control Panel -> Network and Internet -> Network and Sharing Center and click on the left side where it says: "Set up a connection or network"

5: Select "Connect to the Internet: Set up a wireless, broadband, or dial-up connection to the internet." Click Next

6: Select "Broadband (PPPoE). Type in your Username and password and tick "Remember Password". Type in "Local Connection" for the Connection name. Click "Create". It will test the connection and if everything is working, it will connect to your local account.

7: Go to "Network Connections" and right click on your local account. Select "Networking -> Properties -> Advanced." Deselect "Use default gateway on remote network". Click "OK" 3 times. Close all windows.

8: Go to: Control Panel -> Network and Internet -> Network and Sharing Center and click on the left side where it says: "Set up a connection or network"

9: Select "Connect to the Internet: Set up a wireless, broadband, or dial-up connection to the internet." Click Next

10: Choose "Set up a new connection anyway", Choose "No, create a new connection" and press "Next"

11: Select "Broadband (PPPoE). Type in your Username and password and tick "Remember Password". Type in "International Connection" for the Connection name. Click "Create". It will test the connection and if everything is working, it will connect to your International account.

12: Install Routesentry and run as Admin.

13: Connect Local and International through Routesentry if already not connected.

14: Press "Set up routes now". It should now work

that would be correct Jansen as DAT files are normaly associated with VCD disks
as it renames the Mpeg movies to DAT instead

but right click at open as Very Happy always works

Pleasure is mine, just glad it worked but your ping seems a bit to high! Are you using ADSL or wireless? `cause ADSL is not suppose to give you a high ping like that.

Also here is the CONFIG I am using, just replace it with your config and change your name and controls as you want to use it. (Remember to back up your config if you don`t like this one!)
