Far Cry 2

I see a few players have FC2. I see Boetjie tried to hijack a thread around it.

I'm just curious..what is it like? FC was a classic...I can only imagine FC2 must be awesome. The reviews all looked good.

Also..do you need a monster of a PC to run it?

I'm getting a copy today... i spoke to VitzBlitz last night, and he highly recommneds it... he says he is loving it.

Will it run on my work laptop?

The game is AWESOME!!!! I`vee been playing it since yesterday and I can`t explain to you how it looks you will have to see for yourself!!

This also sounds good, one of my old friends still has the orignal FC and it looked cool. Sure FC2 would be nice.

I got the game... installed it... and then my HDD partially crashes...
so i cant even start Windows...

Not to worry, the plan for today is to get a new HDD and get up on Vista !!

Zonk it does have a MP mode for up to 16 players but no server has been set up yet but SGS is "looking" in to it :roll:

FC2 hax were released yesterday beta ver. 1.12, I got mine from Checkers, now I just need to go and buy the game :P

The developers of FC2 were at Rage expo, another friend of mine had contacts to meet them. They did a lot of audio sampling in SA, thats were the Afrikaans comes from. He also said that scenery should look familier to some people around here. :geek:

I played Far Cry 1 over the weekend.

Was amazed by the gameplay and graphics quality very nice!!!

Going to try FC2 very soon.

Far Cry 2 is awesome....

Except i dont think i'm playing the game the developers intended... :P

When you enter Pala, there are buildings marked in red... which a little message reminds you that entering certain buildings will cause the guards to attack you... even thou it is a ceasefire location...

I proceeded to kill the guards first, and then entered the buildings :P
